The «Geniality» CharitaЫe Foundation (St. Petersburg, Russian Federation) has been providing assistance to kids from children’s social institutions since 2007. The Foundation’s targeted programs are aimed at psychological, educational and career guidance support for children.
То solve these proЬlems, the Foundation annually conducts more than 250 events in five main areas:
1. Education — Support for educational programs for children.
2. Joy to children — Organizing visits to theaters, concerts and exhibltions
3. Time to help — Support for families with children in difficult life situations
4.Sports development — Organization of sporting events, including international ones
5. Cozy home — assistance in finding and arranging housing for orphans
GENIALIТY
The activities of the Foundation were noted with а letter of gratitude from the President of the Russian Federation.
In 2023, the Foundation became the initiator and organizer of the cultural and sports festival «We are the world!» for orphans within the framework of the BRICS+ international municipal forum. From that moment on, а social event for orphans became an integral part of the BRICS+ municipal forums in Russia.
In August 2024, Forum delegates met with students from а social school in Moscow, and in November 2024, the Second International Sports and Cultural Festival «We are the World!» will Ье held in St. Petersburg. Orphans from Russia, BRICS countries and partner countries of the association will participate in the festival.
Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation speaks about the key tasks of BRICS:
«The priorities of activities within the framework of the BRICS association are the further promotion of interaction in the field of high technology, science, healthcare, ecology, as well as in the field of culture, sports, youth exchanges and through the civil community.»
In 2024, the Russian Federation chairs the BRICS.
The motto of Russias BRICS chairmanship: «Strengthening multilateralism for fair global development and security;» — Vladimir Putin noted.
WE ARE THE WORLD
We are the World!» — annual international sports and cultural Festival for orphans within the framework of the international Municipal Forum of the BRICS+ countries.
Project goals:
— То form an active international communityfor orphans from Russia, BRICS countries and partner countries of the association; — Create and maintain mutual integration between participants;
— Create the prerequisites for the emergence of international educational andcareer guidance programs for orphans from all over the world.
WEARE ТНЕ WORLD! 2024
From November 20 to 25, 2024, the Second international sports and cultural Festival for orphans is also planned to Ье held within the framework of the the VI International Municipal Forum of the BRICS+ countries.
The Festival program includes а football tournament, sports and creative master classes, excursions to the best museums in St. Petersburg and visits to sporting competitions of the highest level. The Festival Organizing Committee provides accommodation and meals for participants, provides unique sets of game uniforms with individual designs, and organizes а rich prize program.
Every delegation must include up to 10 children born in 2013 or 2014 (age of participants — 10-11 years), as well as up to 2 adult accompanying persons. All children must have the status of orphans or participants in children’s social centers. Expenses for arrival to St. Petersburg and back are borne Ьу the sending organizations.
